Western Governor's University MBA

Has anyone completed this program? I've heard about it in passing and I must say I am intrigued by the compentancy based assessments. How difficult is this program? What are the assignments and tests like? Can one adequately prepare for this program on one's own?

I wish I could help you on this but WGU is very unique...almost to the point of being odd in how the learning is done.

I tried to research the opinions of WGU students but could not find any. Good luck in your search...one thing I didn't do is contact the school to see if they would give my contact info to one of their former or current students so that I could ask them their opinions...worth considering though.

 

There are a couple of WGU students here who post from time to time. Do a search of the message board and you may find a thread in which they commented on their experiences. I think one of them did post about WGU within the past month, IIRC.
