When I earned my D.Min. at Erskine (96), there were five schools which comprised the Atlanta Theological Association: Erskine, Columbia, ITC, Emory and a Lutheran seminary. All D.Min. students, from each of the five schools, met in Atlanta during the core course, four times, three days each. I remember the ITC D.Min. director and some of the students, but little did I know the seminary was awarding honorary Ph.D.'s in South Africa!
