    Hello posters,

I'm not so new here, but I've been reading for a while. Currently I am enrolled at the University of Dallas. Decent school, ACSP accreditation but I am not happy with the price that I'm paying at $490 per credit hour. Its also a traditional program which means I'm looking a good 2 years before I complete it. I liked the idea of getting in without taking the GMAT, but I started off slow and I've only completed 2 courses and I'm looking at other options.

What I'm looking for is program that has an accelerated option, can be completed in 18months or less....

    No GMAT requirement.....

State of the art technology, like DVD/streaming video ect.

Cost 300 or less per credit hour

I'm already aware of the University of North Alabama and wasn't sure if there were any others???

    thanks

Does UNA offer their courses by DVD/streaming video? I would have thought that tuition of $300 or less would pretty much exclude this.

You would have to check into the price a bit more, because this particular school gives a price range, not a set price for its independent study MBA program. I assume that is the program you are studying, I really don't know. But, I have always liked the looks of Colorado State University's distance learning MBA program. It is AACSB, and they use DVD. It has a two-year track which requires you to take two classes at a time, or you can take the four year track if you wish, but it sounds like you want the accelerated program.

I have my bachelors program picked out, but haven't thought about masters level yet. Colorado State would make my top 3 if I were considering an MBA.

Oops. I think you left out a "B"... as in ACBSP accreditation... which is a programmatic accreditation that University of Dallas just got in June, I believe. Otherwise, it's institutionally-accredited by SACS, which is a regional accreditor.

    Where are you located?

Amberton, UT-Dallas and Texas A&M-Commerce are all in your backyard if you are near Dallas. Don't forget TCU and SMU on the more expensive end.

    Hi Joann,

Yes, UNA does offer courses on DVD. I just wanted to know what other schools were comparable to them.

    LFH,

I'm not from from Texas. I live in Georgia and would be going to a school here, but schools are not as flexible concerning the criteria I'm looking for in my original post. I'm satisfied with UDallas for the most part with the exception of the price and technology.
