If you haven't already, check out www.BAin4weeks.com . Lawrie Miller spells out which books to use to study for various CLEP and DANTES exams.

    Princeton Review

I found the Princeton Review Psych GRE subject test guide to be helpful for the Psych GRE as well as a number of my other Psych-related ECE and DANTES exams.

    Thanks AGS,Tcord and Matt.
AGS I haven't made any specific plans yet.
I have ordered a few books from amazon and plan to get some more.

I hope i am able to get at least 20 credits by end of Jan.

I don't know if this would work for everybody, but in addition to the study guides, I simply acquired a generic textbook for the specific CLEP or DANTES I was targeting (i.e. American Government, Psychology, Org Behavior, Info Sys and Computer Apps). I studied these in addition to the "official" study guides I had, and in every case, did very well.

You can usually find subject texts dirt cheap on Ebay (may not be in current use, but still a good grounding in the subject matter). The most I paid for any text was $12.00. Hope this helps, and good luck!

That's all I ever used. Of course back then that's all they ever had. I was living in a college town, and you could pick up second-hand texts that were no longer in use at non-university bookstores for almost nothing.

I would look at the guide to the test from ETS and mark up the table of contents and index, and I'd look at the most heavily indexed topics and study them as well.

If I can put in another plug for the Amazon reader reviews, they keep listings for non-current editions, so you can compare used texts that are "obsolete" and get the one that best meets your needs.
