Okay, I know I am once again planning way ahead, but I would like to know if there are any self-paced ( defined as where one could complete the course within a prescribed amount of time with no chat requirements or group work) regionally accredited Master's degree programs in Management or Business Admin. I ask in particular about RA because I would like the ability to teach higher education in the future. I would also prefer the degree to be somewhat self-paced because I have quite a hectic life right now between a full-time job, a baby, and the millions of other things that are on my plate (as well as another baby in the future maybe!) I love to learn though, so I'm not looking for the easiest way (although I'm not looking for the most difficult either :) ) I am somewhat familiar with NorthCentral's program and that is an option for me.....Thanks

    Thanks

Well, I know the MS at TUI was pretty self paced and they have an MBA program also

From what I understand, you can't teach higher ed with an MBA because they don't give you 18 credits in a single subject. An MS in Management would probably work.

Well this might partially answer for you. Salve Regina has a MSM which can be completed with self paced courses. 4 of the 6 required courses can be done with the self paced variety. There are plenty of other electives offered in the self paced format. I think three of the self paced courses don't require books. They'll accept 12 credits in transfer and you can also include elective courses from other areas such as International Relations. The price is good, $1050 per course. Oh, you have 4 months to complete the self paced courses and if you don't complete, you can extend for another month or so for $150.

The interactive/online courses are 8 weeks in duration. Karen Johnson is the graduate admissions person and she's pretty nice, also she returns emails promptly.
