International University for Graduate Studies

I ran into a former colleague who mentioned that he obtained a doctorate from IUGRAD. He claims that his degree is accredited by St. Kitt and legitmately enables him to refer to himself as "doctor".

I checked a number of states (Oregon, Michigan, etc) position on this university and they noted that this degree falls under the rubric of unaccredited and therefore was not recognized.

It appears that St. Kitt does accredit some recognized schools including a medical school.

What is the bottomline regarding the credibility of St. Kitt's
accreditation of degrees such as those from IUGRAD.
