There have been recent media articles very critical of MBAs from "virtual" universities... an Economist publication recommends only pursuing DL MBAs from reputable schools where the DL program is the same as on-campus equivalent. There are a number of US RA schools which achieve this (or close to it... eg. California State Dominquez Hills). IMO the best US programs are from Katz, Warrington and Fuqua but these require residency and are rather expensive. Top-tier, and relatively inexpensive, DL programs are available from Europe (see Heriot-Watt, University of Leceister and Royal Holloway).
Proprietary. Gained accreditation pretty quickly. First truly internet-based university to become accredited. They seem to know what they're doing. Dumb name. Cutting edge in terms of distance education. A degree from there would be like taking a residential degree from some accredited school no one ever heard of. Rich Douglas
According to recent articles in Business Week (if I recall correctly) a MBA from a virtual-U is not equal to a residential school no one has heard of.
