Has anyone received a Masters in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College?

How long did it take and were you able to test out of any of the requirements? I know people are able to take CLEP or DANTES exams to test out of classes for the Excelsior undergraduate programs, but are there any exams one can use to test out of any graduate classes?

    Thanks for any reply.

    Tworivers,
You might be able to transfer in some courses, I think 15 hours transfer is not just carrot as with other grad programs but a reality with Excelsior. As too testing out, I won't say no for certain, but I feel confident you would be hard pressed to find any grad porgram that would allow you to test out of classes
    All the best,
    Gavin

It's an interesting idea, however. The whole point of CLEP/Dantes etc. exams is to allow people with real world experience in those topics to get credit for their knowledge. Why not have graduate level exams for credit? You'd probably have to take some courses, thesis etc. but it would be interesting to see if it happens some day as distance learning becomes more popular.
