If I wish to teach as an online adjuct, would it be better to find a Masters in Finance versus a general MBA? Especially with the typical 18 hour rule often used. I just find that there are not many distance Masters in Finance programs out there. I am considering the Masters in Financial Manament from University of London. Anyone with experience with this program? Would the lack of AACSB be a hindrance or would the name and rigor stand out enough for online adjuct work? Thank you.
If you're talking about adjuncting for U.S. universities, yes, I'm told by the dean who hires online faculty for Keiser College that Finance is much harder for her to find than Business Administration or Management. The problem with London is that even though you can have it evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. degree, you may find that schools prefer candidates who have eighteen postgraduate credit-hours in Finance from a U.S. institution. -=Steve=-
I wonder if it you couldn't kill two birds with one stone and go for the specialized MBA such as: http://www.mbaregis.com/degrees_mbafa.asp or http://www.tourou.edu/cba/mba.htm
