    Congrats Laura! :) :)

I hope to graduate too one of these days. lol

P.S. Most schools refer to what you received as a diploma. Does Thomas Edison refer to your BA degree as a certificate? That would be different.

LOL You get a diploma, on the day you graduate. Prior to the day you graduate you get "certified" for graduation. This, for all intents and purposes, works as a diploma. So, since my diploma doesn't come until approximately 10 days after Dec 2, my certification of graduation is what was used to get me the teaching position. HTH

    Laura,

Less than thirty days until graduation!

Yes, it's probably poor form to count down the days, but man, I can't wait.

Yep. It's a pretty nifty Xmas present. You going to commencement in October?

    Laura,

No, I don't plan to go to New Jersey next October. I went to the commencement for my Associate's degree, got the pictures with Ma and Pa, etc. My BA, much like yours, was primarily a matter of submitting an application, some transcripts and jumping through a few hoops. All the work and emotional investment that was there in the Associate's degree and in the school I attended just isn't there to the same extent in the Bachelor's. I look forward to the degree and I'm appreciative of the way TESC made this possible, but the process was more like getting a new car registered. You dig the new car but you skip the BMV open house.
