The South African Qualifications Authority says they won't accept money ordrs but will accept postal orders. What's a postal order -- a money order issued by the post office?
Yes; I've used them many times, though never internationally. South Africa is not among the countries listed on the USPS site as accepting international money orders, though. http://www.usps.com/money/welcome.htm If in fact they can't accept a US postal money order, might they accept a cashier's check from a major US bank?
The South African Post Office seems to do money orders to and from foreign countries. Check out <http://www.sapo.co.za/comm/postofficeframe.html> and go to Home / Products + Services / Retail Products / Money Transfers It doesn't say how one sends such an order, but there is contact information available on the site.
