Are there any TUI Masters degree holders teaching in non-DL environments...

    ...such as junior colleges and small technical colleges? If there are, I have a couple of questions.

    1- Considering many have never heard of Touro, was your degree well received with RA being sufficient merit to legitimize the degree?

    2- Do you feel DL degrees are more accepted by for-profit schools as opposed to non-profit?


    Thanks very much for any response to these questions. I am leaning very strongly towards TUI for graduate study for several reasons and I am interested in teaching sometime in the not too distant future.

    It depends on what part of the country your are in. Here in NY Touro is well know because of the law school.

    I work in a not for profit school. In working with the HR director only a handful of faculty members have degrees from DL school. The ones that do are usually from RA schools. If I have never heard of a school I will check it out first before committing to a time schedule.
