Using the public part of the forum to invite people to take the discussion private is not said forum's best use. In fact, so flies in the face of a forum's purpose does it that some forums actually prohibit it right in their Terms of Service (TOS) agreements... which, to be candid, I wish this one would do, as well.

Additionally, putting your email address right in a public thread, like you have, is a sure fire way to attract messages from even more spammers than you're probably already getting... and, in fact, if you agree that you'd like it removed for that reason (which maybe you hadn't thought of before I just called it to your attention) then I'll be happy to remove it for you. Just let me know.

So... is whatever you want to know from them, or whatever you want to tell them, so private that you cannot risk discussing it here... where everyone can learn from it, too?
