I have decided to enroll at Southwest University and begin MBA studies soon. I anticipate graduation by December 2006. I want to thank everyone for their input and their help especially as of late, as Southwest was affected by Hurricane Katrina. Special thanks to Dr. Bear who pointed out this school.

I'm glad to finally be part of the MBA student club :)

Well I'll be the first to say congratulations and good luck. I emailed Southwest about a week ago to see if they were back in operation and taking students again...they said they were.

Now....aren't you glad you waited and went with your first choice after all?:D

Assuming you're sure a degree from a school with DETC accreditation will meet your present and future needs, you should have a good experience. Nice things seem to be said about Southwest, even long before they were accredited.

Truth be told, if I could've found a RA program similar in price, structure, and content, I would've preferred that because I like teaching. However, I've worked as a higher ed administrator, school teacher, and banker and accreditation was never an issue - it was never even brought up.

Anyway, I digress - I believe the M.B.A. will suit my needs just fine. The people are extremely caring and seem genuinely concerned about the student - something that isn't said often of any kind of school. :(

Thanks for the congrats. And yes, I am glad I was able to excercise a bit of patience and had a bit more if needed. My wife on the other hand........:D
I'm kidding. I'm married to the best woman alive.
