    Dear Mr. Douglas:

I have for several months followed the discussion on this site, with reference to MIGS. You along with your partner Mr. Bear have attacked almost all members who had secured and posted correct(and negative) information about MIGS.

I certainly understand your bias, however, given the expertise you and your partner claim, it is difficult to accept that you were not aware of the shady and illegal operation of MIGS. It took you rather long to do so. YOU ARE EQUALLY PART OF THE PROBLEM, and while you seem to have increased zeal to respond to postings re: MIGS (therapy I guess), and at times in a sympathy-seeking approach, you have lost credibility, and the members of this group should vote you off this board. YOU ARE EXTREMELY BIASED IN YOUR ASSESSMENT.

I trust that you will now be humble and wise, and register with a regionally accredited program or one that meets GAAP (yes I mean GAAP) requirements.

Stop sweating the small stuff, and get real.

My friend, personal attacks are not allowed in this group, you should be the one to be voted off this group for this. Mr. Douglas points of view are sometimes of help for many in this board. You say you have been followed this group for months but I don’t see any participation of you in this board besides this personal attack that is not welcome.

Let me second my fellow Canuck's statements about etiquette. Please read some of the information about membership in this forum and some of the postings with regard to conduct on this forum.

Your civility and sticking to facts would be greatly appreciated. We all had enough of the aed atmosphere which rendered that board useless for serious inquiry.

    So, welcome to the forum.

    North

Oh, that's who you are. [IMG]

While I appreciate the responses above from two other members of this board, I still felt like responding. I took a lot of grief for supporting what could have been a good idea. Despite the innumerable stupid things the people of MIGS did, I hung in there, hoping they would put the school together. They didn't, so I left. But why this angry person (or someone posing as one) came along now is a mystery.

"Stop sweating the small stuff, and get real.

Not bad. Two horrible cliches crammed into one sentence, with a punctuation error to boot."

For your information, the abovementioned compound sentence is grammatically correct. A comma should be used before a conjunction if the two ideas linked thereby are independent, and each contains a finite verb.

Don't sweat the small stuff Rich. It cheapens your efforts.

I can barely read this thread due to all of the cobwebs it's covered in.

In the time since the last post from this thread (other than today's necro-postings) I personally have managed to: buy a house, sell a house, build a house, have two children, get promoted three times at work, buy and sell at least six vehicles, and complete three Master's degree and a Doctorate. What is the point of all the grave-digging?

I like going back and reading older posts when Im up all night with my stupid insomnia. Besides, reading the older posts gives me a much better idea of things that went on here "back in the day".

Being a very nostalgic person, I love opening ip the thread vault. I don't know much about MIGS, but I do know that there are about 48 or 49 million threads related to it and its demise on this server.

For nostalgia's sake: When this thread was originally posted, I had no high school diploma, no money to my name, was overweight, agnostic and monolingual. Yeesh. That doesn't sound like Maniac Craniac at all.

When this thread was opened, I was 39 years old and on disability with two MBAs under my belt, and didn't even know this board existed (though I did know about Bear's Guide).

  14. I will play along too. When this thread was opened I had just started my freshman in high school and was no where near thinking of college.

There are actually probably several hundred posts about MIGS that no one but mods can see, because MIGS was, at the time, so popular a topic of discussion (for the ridiculous antics of Sheila and her gang of incompetents) that we created a subforum about it.

At some point, I will try and move those threads en masse into the main distance discussion section so that they will be viewable by anyone who wants to see them. It was a source of great entertainment and mirth, from the large banner ads for "doorknob.com" on the MIGS school pages, to the lawsuit against Levicoff, to the online Macarena lessons, to the term-paper writing service that Sheila advertised right on the MIGS site.

    Truly a one-of-a-kind.

LOL When this initially posted, I finished my Freshman year of high school... Wow now I'm telling you my age and those of you are probably saying (Dude, I have many more years on you). This is comical.

Along the lines of the bestselling book, "S*%t my dad says," a book that was a collection of twitter posts, you can probably put together a book called, "S*%t degree mill operators say" just from posts on this website. :laugh2:
