I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good online schools offering a BA in Early Childhood Education. I prefer one that doesn't require existing credits to be completed before admission. Maybe a comptency based admission requirement or one that offers someone to earn the credits while going to their college.

    Thank you!

    PS

I am currently enrolled in WGU for their PK-8 program, however, I see it only takes about 2 years to complete a degree in Early Childhood Education VS the 5-6 year program with WGU.

    :)

Thanks Ted and hello again to you too... :)

I think I'm just going to stick to WGU. The schools posted within that thread are mostly for Master Degree Programs. I haven't found anything remotely close or as good as WGU in regards to Bachelors for Early Childhood, Elementary Education.

But if anyone should know of a 2-year Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary which specializes is competency-based entrance requirements or allows you to get your credits within their program, please don't hesitate to post!

    Thanks!

LOL! Maybe I should have elaborated a little bit more here about the credits. I have a GED, so my core subjects I do not have credits in. WGU will allow you to take the required core electives within their program on a competency based level. I do have a diploma in the Teacher Aide field, however it is not an Associates Degree, only a certificate.

Sorry, I should have explained the credits issue a little better!
