Meet the new boss, same as the old boss?(The Who)

The Academic Credential Assessment Corporation, a foreign degree assessment program is reportedly "under new managment" as of 9-07-05. Although the old mangement stated on it's website not affiliated with any university payment for it's assessments went to St. Regis, a closed down degree mill. The new Managment's website is the same and they offer not only degree equivalency evals but PLAs and degree "challenge equivelency exams" whre one can test out for an entire degree as a MBA or Master's in Liberal Arts"( For only 25 dollars)
From their website:
"An ACAC Challenge Exam Report of Degree Equivalency can help you get a Certificate or Degree for what you already know.
Unlike many other college challenge exams the ACAC Challenge Exam program allows you to select a Certificate or Degree Program and take ONE complete set of exams covering all courses required for graduation by a typical US university .
The notice is also forwarded to pre-approved universities. The pre-approved universities will contact you with their information on using the results of your ACAC Challenge Exam to be granted a degree."
Given no address is given, no " pre-approved Universities" are listed by name, and the testing for an "entire degree" option remains available it is hard to believe a change in managment has occurred. But St. Regis is out of business. Who is this new mangement group? One site indicates located in the UK. Schools that use their assessment services include WestCoast university in Panama- which according to ODA is " Linked to the fake accreditor that is part of the St. Regis, Robertstown, Monroe U. scam"
Suspect the new boss is really the old boss. Like the Who asked "WHO are YOU-ACAC?

Considering that it was listed in the SRU Search warrant Affidavit, I would think that they are just trying to throw people off the trail. But I would say same boss.

They still claim to be a corporate partner of AACRAO.

email info says to contact [email protected] . That domain is registered to "Elizabeth Cooper" of Rockledge, FL. The phone 321 631-7237 number turns up in Google here for Ms. Cooper, a radio psychic.

 

Hmph! Who needs a challenge exam? If she's psychic, shouldn't she already know whether someone deserves a degree?

What else uses the fax number (888) 825-2777?

It appeared in the 2002-2003 catalog of "Macarther University," an unaccredited entity that showed approximately 200 pages in its catalog that were identical to pages in the (accredited) UMUC catalog. The current catalog lists the number (877) 527-1520 instead

(888) 825-2777 was also the "Customized Learning Center Staff phone number" for Ratchford a couple of years ago, but no longer.

This is all rather curious. It is not clear whether Elizabeth Cooper is aware of any of this.
