    Hello Everyone,

I submitted my application to California State University, Dominguez Hills for the master of art in negotiation, conflict resolution and peace building.

I decided against pursuing a doctorate at this time for personal and professional reasons. I do not plan on teaching at a B&M university, but would be interested in teaching a class or two at the police academy or online university someday.

The MA is ten classes long, but was informed I could transfer one of my research classes from Columbia Southern University, which would leave only nine classes to complete the program.

I figured being a resident of California, it would be beneficial to get a master's from a Cal State school.

If anyone has completed this program or plans on enrolling please let me know.

It's nice to know they recognized your DETC accredited undergrad degree.

It sounds like a good program. Best of luck with it.

CSU Dominguez Hills is part of the CHEA / HETA agreement (Higher Education Transfer Alliance), so graduates from nationally accredited degree programs can transfer over to regionally accredited schools. The list keeps growing bigger and bigger.

Cal State Domingeuz Hills was appealing to me due to me residing in northern California. The program of study is also fascinating with my background in law enforcement and corporate security.

I've never seen a master program specializing in negoitation, conflict resolution and peace building. It will surely benefit me in my career field not only professionally, but personally as well.
