If you want to help a cop find an online AA program, then please click here to answer his question. Any help is much appreciated. You don't have to register at that board to give him an answer or advice. Thanks in advance.

It would be better to get him to ask the question here, which is what I advise him to come here and do... that is, after he's read the various articles here. If he's not willing to make that kind of research and education investment, then he will get what he deserves.

Thanks Gregg for helping them out. Yes, I agree that they will get what they so richly deserve. LOL

Perhaps you could explain that little shot for the benefit of those who don't get the little inside joke.

A lot of people expect to find easy answers with easy coursework handed to them on a silver platter, but it simply doesn't work that way. However, I fully understand the ignorance of some people when it comes to educational issues (no insult was meant by that). People simply have no idea:
    - What regional accreditation is.
    - What general educational requirements are.
    - The difficulty of pursuing college coursework.

The last point bothers me a little because people oftentimes quote the misnomer that if someone has the ability to score extremely high on a test, then they are a poindexter who has no hope of making it in the real world. People oftentimes take extreme examples and apply them as if they are the norm.

Anyways, a lot of people are looking for easy answers, but they aren't willing to do the research to find out how to get a bonifide college degree -- and many of them certainly won't be willing to do the coursework! Thus they will get what they deserve, which is nothing! Only the dilligent who persevere will actually get a degree. In my case, it took 21 years, but I never quit!
