    Hello,

I've a question to those who applied with an US degree at an UK or Australian university. What do Australian/UK universities usually require from US applicants, only the transcripts(with courses taken and marks) or do they also need the diploma?
To my knowledge US universities will only send out copies of transcripts. Is this true?

    Thanks,

    Dennis

I don't think Australian universities need the diploma. I don't remember submitting a copy of my diploma to them when I applied. You just need to submit your transcripts which would show that a degree is awarded. It doesn't even need to be mailed directly from the registrar. I submitted a certified copy of my transcripts.

When I enrolled in a master's program through the University of Wales, I was required to present my diploma. It was photocopied and included in my student file.

The University of London demanded authenticated (by the British Council) copies of both my J.D. and my B.A. diplomas.

They also demanded official transcripts from both schools.
