Hello All, I wanted to share with you a course that NCU is offering after the dissertation process. It's RSH930 - Research Publication. It's a 1 credit course where the learner must write and submit an article to a scholarly journal or publication. I think this is a great course, and I intend on registering for it (It's new so I don't believe that it is required). The reason I feel that it's important is because if more learners from the institution are able to get their work published, the more "prestige" the instituion will recieve. I have seen articles published and written by graduates of Walden and Capella, and I thinkl this a step in the right directon for not only NCU, but all online colleges. It will increase the validity of the degree. I thought I would share that because I know that NCU has had some hostility addressed to it on these boards, and I wanted to just show something positive for a change. I hope that all these colleges and their graduates find success.

I will definitely take it. Why go all the way through a PhD and not publish? PhD and publishing should go together.
