I am enrolled in the BSc. Economics through the University of London External Programme, and I am trying to find an institution that offers quality online tuition for my program.

Up to the moment, I have been able to identigy the following:

Worldcampus, Australia (part of ACGS): They even offer scholarships, but have told me they are full until October 2006!!!

London School of Business South Africa: I have emailed them. One of the addresses they provide does not exist.

Teaching Planet/Stansfield College(Singapur): I have emailed them, and am waiting for their reply

Law tutors online, UK: Study packages. A bit expensive, IMHO. Will email them tomorrow.

Does someone know anything about these institutions (quality of tuition, prices, reputation, customer service)?

Does someone know any other institutions offering tuition for the BSc. Economics?

Thank you very much for your help.

Stansfield is one of the major tuition provider for UOL external programs in SINGAPORE and the price should be reasonable. That's all I know. I don't know anything about their quality, customer service, prices, etc. Hope it helps.

tsling, thank you very much for this link. I am reviewing it as I write this reply, as classes start on Monday!!! I will write immediately to find out about late registration.

They seem to be very good. Twelve of their students graduated with a First Honours last year.

Oxpecker, thanks for the link. The list is indeed incomplete. Worldcampus is not included, and neither is law tutors online.

However, I am excited by the possibility of enrolling at Stansfield. I hope they accept me.

    Thanks again,

I emailed to Stansfield College today, and I also noticed that the emails I sent to both Stansfield group(the parent company) and teaching-planet.com were returned to me as undeliverable.

I'll fax a copy of the email tomorrow. It seemed strange to me that a company hat has received, according to their website, a prestigious award from the Government of Singapore for their entrepneurial activity might find itself electronically isolated from applicants.

I phoned Stansfield College in Singapore and a kind lady called Mimim told me i could still register, although tuition begins today.

Minimum registration is for 2 full units, which would roughly total US$ 1300.

Can somebody offer me advice on Stansfield College? I know they seem to be prestigious, but would like to know if anyone has actually enrole with them or knows someone who has.

    Thanks,

Novemberdude and nosborne, thanks for your advice.

The one law tuition institution offering such help for Economics is The Law Tutors.

They don't seem to offer tuition for the BSc. Economics

The only thing that troubles me of law tutors online is the cost.

For instance, taking my 4 first-year units with lThe Law Lutors will cost me some 1500GBP , while if I use London School of University Studies in SA it would cost me BGP1040. Stansfield would cost GBP1600.

Do you have any personal experience with The Law Tutors or lawturors online or know someone who has worked with them as a student?

WHat is your experience in terms of quality and tutor support?

Do they offer wholy online tuition?

Do you know if I can pay by installments, being a foreign student(I live in Cuba)? For instance, I can pay by installments with London SA.

Your help will always be deeply appreciated.

Thanks very much for your advice
