Does anyone know why Amberton is not listed in Bear’s MBA book?

Until just a few months ago the MBA could not be done without several classes being done on campus.

This may have something to do with it. They also just changed their name from Amber to Amberton.

The school has a traditional campus just outside of Dallas.

  3. And remember that the title is Bears' Guide to the Best MBAs by Distance Learning. It profiles 100 institutions, providing information such as media used, prerequisites, entrance requirements.

100 is a subset of the available MBA programs; I believe there are approximately a zillion.

My guess is that there was only so much space alloted for the book. Another school I consider having a good MBA program, Baker College, is also not listed. Such is life.

"Amber University" appears in BG 14, which was compiled during the second half of 2000. It is in the section of schools that offer nontraditional residential programs, which jibes well with Dan's observation.
