Are there any Natural Gas or Oil and Gas Certificate Programs???

Does anyone know if there are any distance learning schools that offer Oil and Gas or Natural Gas certificate programs? I have only seen Master's programs available.

Seems if you know the right techniques you could mine just about anything you wanted much more effeciently than I seem to be able to do.

Thanks for the info. but I only found one program which is one I already saw. I was hoping someone knowledgeable would know of a specific program.

Robert Gordon University (UK) offers a few programs in this area. Like most postgraduate programs in th UK they have certificate, diploma and MSc awards.

University of Southern California has a DL graduate certificate in what they call Smart Oilfield Technology. Apparently it's aimed at practicing engineers in the petroleum field and covers new computer applications.

It would be helpful if you were more specific, as the petroleum industry is enormous, with many specialized technical niches. Are you looking for a certificate related to...

...petroleum geology (i.e. exploration) ?
...petroleum engineering (i.e. recovery or refining) ?
...petroleum-specific business issues (i.e. marketing, legal affairs, or accounting) ?

There are likely to be certificates available in all of these areas.
