Strange words passed my lips today

A co-worker of mine asked me what I was going to do after my BS degree...I said my usual statement about getting 2 Masters, one in CJ and one MBA.

She then asked me which schools I was going to go to...without skipping a beat I answered getting an MA in CJ from American Public University and an MBA from St. Josephs College of Maine, which was a school I had never heard of until 2 weeks ago.

This is probably the first time I have ever given a straight answer when asked which school I was going to go to and I had been swearing up and down I was "probably" going to go to NCU...

Somehow when I said it though, it felt real, natural...so I guess maybe I've made my choices...and unless something else pops up, I'm not sure it's going to change.

Now, what to do with all those college catalogs and brochures I keep everywhere and what will I do with my free time spent reading them?
    :D

    Wow. So you've decided. CONGRATULATIONS!

If I'm not mistaken, I get to take credit for the SJCME decision. If so, once you graduate, don't forget to hoist a pint in my honor! ;)

DesElms, yeah, I talked to them on the phone today, real nice guys.

They said that my undergrad degree would be good to go so now it's up to CPS to get me the product as quickly as possible so I can finish up, so I can get in on at St. Joes.

Good! I thought that that's what you'd think of them. They're out to make something of a profit, of course, like any other institution of higher learning; but they're awfully interested in the quality of the student's experience, too. Gotta' like that.

Good luck to you. Don't forget to hoist that pint.

Oh, yeah... and please report back here about your experience there as you move through the program. I'm sure everyone would enjoy reading about it. I know I would.

I won't forget the pint and I won't forget to post my experiences and thoughts.

I still have about 5 months as my target date to finish my BS. I won't even miss a beat before I enroll in St. Joe's though. I can hardly wait.
