I have mentioned this poll a few times, and I thought I would post the results. This is a poll I posted at the Ashworth student message board on Yahoo. I created the poll at a time I was seriously considering enrolling in one of Ashworth's programs. I wanted to know how the degree was accepted at other schools and with employers. The first number after each polling response is the number of actual votes. The second number is the percentage of the vote total. Choices Votes % I was able to transfer my entire degree to another DETC-accredited school. 4 11 I was able to transfer my entire degree to a regionally-accredited school 3 8 I was able to transfer SOME credits to a DETC-accredited school 2 5 I was able to transfer SOME credits to a regionally-accredited school 2 5 I can't get ANY school to recognize my degree. 1 2 My degree has helped me further my career, and employers had no problem accepting it. 2 5 I found the courses useful, but employers recognize only regionally-accredited degrees 2 5 I did not find the courses helpful in my job, and employers would not recognize my degree. 2 5 I have not graduated, but I find the course work useful and my employer is supportive of the school. 16 47
