Indiana State University offers a doctoral degree in Technology Management through distance learning (mostly), do you know its reputatiom? http://www.indstate.edu/distance/techManagement.html Luis
I inquired about it, and since it is not in their business department, it is not considered AACSB (was told by the school and AACSB)..... in case it was a consideration because of it.
The Ph.D program offered by Indiana State is the program my old Dean at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a former instructor (just recently) suggested I look into. Some time ago I posted a request to hear from actual program students.
I agree. This program does not require AACSB accreditation. It's being offered by ISU's College of Technology not the College of Business.
Having read a few dissertations of this program's graduates via Texas A & M Commerce's proxy server (ProQuest) I must say I am impressed with the quality of papers.
As a follow up: After placing a call to ISU I was told the best contact person is Helen Hoffa. I contacted her and days later received a graduate catalog, program literature, and and supporting literature. I like what I see. I am going to visit www.nait.org to look for a few more articles by ISU graduates. The next step is to visit the campus.
