List of Religion Tests for College credit

Good Morning, I am trying to help someone who is beginning the quest in dl. His end goal is to be a pastor. He has three years of mission experience and is prepared to test through any Religion courses that are out there. Input greatfully appreciated. Hille

Hi Hille,

South African Theological Seminary (SATS), much-lauded on this board (I honestly can't think of a single negative post about them at any time) allows "recognition of prior learning" towards their BTh program; if he has documentation, I imagine that your friend's 3 years of mission experience would count towards credits. Some find its conservative, charismatic underpinnings a bit off-putting. But beyond that (and, truthfully, even that doesn't seem to be a serious impediment), you're absolutely right. It's got a rock solid reputation. A while back, I even did a little research into its church affiliation and was actually pleasantly surprised. In fact, as I think back on it, that thread is where I really began to get a good feeling about SATS.
