As far as I know, the number of options open to you is zero.
    Sorry.

Aspen University has a Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT ) USD600.00 per course plus books (used books will reduce the cost). 36 credits (12 courses) @ 600.00 per course = 7200.00 (plus books). A Masters Degree for only USD5000.00 seems unlikely though Aspen University will let you transfer in some credits which might put the cost closer to the figure you want.

If you pay your tuition upfront you can get 20% knocked off your bill at Aspen, so if you had nothing to transfer in that would be about $5700 without books.

Also if you're experienced and smart you can test out of 3 courses. The fee is $250 per class. So that would put you at $4800. Subtract the lifetime learning credit and you're at around $3600.

You may be able to get a masters from one of the South African universities for that price, but I'm not sure you would be able to get it in that time frame.

    What's the rush?
BA in Communications - Excelsior College (in progress)
Course work at Penn Foster College (3.85 GPA)
Course work at Andrew Jackson University (4.0 GPA)

It is highly unlikely that your above described expectations will be met. That's just the nature of the beast.

    2014 - Bench pressed 43 pounds
2013 - Promoted to fries operator (at McDonalds)
2010 - CPR, finally passed after 5th try
2001 - Post High School, Microsoft Powerpoint, magna cum laude
1998 - 12th grade, voted most likely to succeed
1997 - 11th grade wood shop class, summa cum laude
    1989 - 3rd grade soccer, 6th place trophy

    1. You could get a diploma mill degree (certain can be done in less than 6-8 months and for under 5K).

    2. If you had 15 semester units of transferable credit, you could enroll in the MA program at Excelsior College. You could take 4 graduate courses during the fall semester (12 units) and do your thesis during the spring semester to complete your remaining units. It would be highly unlikely that this could be done sucessfully unless one took a leave of absence from work. Tuition would be over 5K. the degree would be in Liberal Studies, not IT.

    3. You could be realistic and consider why a masters degree typically takes 1-2 years of work (longer if you pursue it part-time). You could see if your employer will grant that you are making sufficient progress on your masters degree to warrant the promotion. Perhaps you could negotiate that you receive the promotion, with your pay raise becoming activiated when you complete your degree. That type of negiotiation is done all the time.

OK. So you do have some graduate credits??

Why not look at the MBA at Excelsior?

They have two courses that you must take with them, but the rest can be transferred from other schools.

dl_mba, do you have an MCSE ? If yes you can transfer it in and Aspen says in its website that they can take your MCSE as 9 graduate credits -- I do find it a bit weird to equate an MCSE to graduate credits but this is their rule of game...

Then assuming you pay in full to get that 20% you will only need to pay $4,800. But still books not included...

(don't be say 'cos Aspen allows you to transfer in a maximum of 18 graduate credits and so if you do have that you only have to pay something like $2,880 and so adding the cost of books it should still be below $5K.)

Charles Sturt University in Australia would transfer 50% of the credits if you have a Microsof certification. That would put it in the 5K range and 1 year time frame, may be less if you can take more courses per term.

    dl_mba:

There will be other promotions down the road. If the only thing standing between you and a promotion is not merit but an "MBA stamp"--irregardless of how obtained--then you're in with the wrong company. Only in academia do I usually see such arbitrary decisions made based on degrees, and at least the vast majority of academic institutions have the sense to require standards--such as AACSB.

The quickest AACSB DL MBA of which I know is the University of Florida 12 month program; it's for those who already have a number of UG courses in business or a UG business degree. It's not cheap, but it's a legit accelerated online/DL program from one of the top 50 or so schools of business in the country.

But if I were you, I'd just stick it out with A&M-Commerce. That's a legit program, and AACSB to boot. Wait for the next promotion down the road, you won't be sorry you stuck it out with an accredited program.

Sounds like you are looking for St Regis.

Based on your request, you might have a few options:

    1. check Dr Bears section of Unaccredited Universities without residence requirements, and no legitimacy. (St Regis ,APU,)

    2. Do a search on DegreeInfo for Diploma mills and you should find a few PO Boxes .....errr....... I mean Universities to meet your request.

In this section you'll learn how to pay for your degree and obtain it in around a week.

Now these degrees are not legit, but based on your request, they are the only options that match your criteria.

Re: Need Help on Fastest Masters Degree Online.

Don't get mad at my question, please, but are you trying to get perm processing, or trying to fit into new visa rules? Hence, the need to get a master's fast to fit under the new H-1 categories? I have two people working for me and they asked almost the same question about two weeks ago. They want a fast master's degree so they can be covered in the new categories.

I never heard of a 6-8 months MBA before. You might be best served in your current MBA program at A&M. Even if you found such a program would it be worth anything?

You could do it at Hamilton or Kennedy Western most likely. Both are mills. Other mills might be City University Los Angeles, SGUI, etc. I don't suggest those at all but if you were looking at that route then save yourself some money and just go for something like http://www.superiordiploma.com/index.htm However, I am certain they are illegal.

Even better choices might be to look at Andrew Jackson Univeristy or Columbia Southern University. Their MBA programs might be close to the dollar criteria you are suggesting. It is $5700 at Andy Jack, with many payment options. You would get a legitimate and accredited degree in those options(they are both DETC accredited).
