I'm searching for CSU alumnus on this board. If you're a CSU graduate please read the letter below and visit the alumni website for new and upcoming updates:

    (http://www.colsouth.edu/alumni/index.html:

The Columbia Southern University Alumni Association (CSUAA) welcomes you to the future of our alumni.

I want to encourage all of you to become a part of the CSU Alumni, so we may foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional tie with the university and perhaps with each other. Supporting the alumni is a vital key to provide the University with goodwill and support. Whether you are from another country or reside here in the US, become an active member of the CSU alumni. If you're in a State or Country who does not currently have a chapter, the opportunity presents itself.

On June 24, 2005 with the guidance and leadership of Dr. Larry Williams, CSU had its Alumni Association meeting. There were graduates in attendance representing various locations throughout the country and abroad. Four alumni officers were elected to assist in the development and future success of the CSU Alumni Association.

After the official alumni meeting adjourned, the elected officers had a separate meeting at the CSU facility. Among the many topics discussed, was our vision relative to improving the Alumni Association. The vision materialized into what we believe were some great ideas - some of which were: having the alumni application online for submission, improving the online newsletter and also mailing hardcopies via mail to CSU graduates, highlighting up-to-date changes and current events specific to the university's future growth and expanding the existing alumni website. We welcome any feedback, suggestions or questions you have may have about the CSUAA, or any of our services and programs.

We are cuurently looking for CSU graduates to write articles for the newly upcoming CSU newsletter. We're looking for articles such as bios of your experience with CSU, where your at now and how your CSU helped you progress in your career or any other articles pertaining to distance education. The newsletter will have color graphics, photographs of the CSU facility, administration, professors and updates of CSU's progression and future. If your interested in writing articles for the newsletter please send me am email ([email protected]).

So, former graduates, family and friends, I welcome you to become an active member of the CSUAA and as it states on the alumni website, ‘Stay Connected.”

    Jamie A. Gauthier
    President, CSU Alumni Association (2005-2006)

That's pretty cool. I haven't seen any DETC schools doing anything like that thus far. Kudos for CSU.
