    Greeting everyone.

I have a favor to ask. My brother will be coming to US in about 2 years in order to peruse a BS degree (major not determined) at a California State University system.
I think that he should get his AA degree online from any accredited community college. Then we he is here, it will less time to get his BS degree, and he agrees with me.

My online search so far has yielded two community colleges outside California (Columbus State Community College & North Iowa Community College).

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other programs (anything in the cost rage of 3-5K annually).

    Thanks.

Since he plans to attend college in California for his BS, it may be best for him to earn his AA from a California community college. That way, you are assured of maximum transfer of credits (or should be, anyway). There are also some great programs to be had for a good price in California. Check out the California Virtual Campus at http://www.cvc.edu/

You can search by either the course or the program.

    Zaya,

I just put a post on CCU's added Associates degree programs that would be well within your price.

Keep in mind, they are NA through DETC. If a nationally accredited degree would meet your needs, then this could be a good option for you.

Depending on your future needs though, a RA would probably be a better utility.
