Cheap elective AACSB credit?

  1. Hi everyone,

    I'm looking for a couple of AACSB elective courses I can take that are at the cheap end - my IU MBA program will accept up to 6 hours of transfer credit as electives, and at $850/credit hour it adds up quickly (especially for a 48 credit hour program :eek: )

    Any thoughts or suggestions? I can't take core courses this way, but I would be interested in technology, marketing or finance electives that are a lot cheaper. For example, Marist offers Data Management or Data Communications at $562/credit - I'm sure there are even cheaper options out there.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers,
    Mark

    $1100 for up to six units (two standard classes) - many online options - www.csus.edu (probably most of the state california schools) - Good luck!!

    What state are you claiming residency??

    I believe they are slightly less than $500 a credit. Also, Troy definitely is very cheap... but it's not AACSB, it's ACBSP.

    Here's the geteducated.com list of the 25 cheapest AACSB MBAs:

    Some of the rates on the list are for residents only, and some don't allow non-degree students... you'd have to check each place on the list carefully.

    I believe you are mistaken or I missed something becasue Troy State is not AACSB accredited.

    I doubled checked and Troy is still ACBSP accredited and not AACSB.

    ACBSP(which includes Troy State campuses):
