There are a ton of MBA programs, but few doctoral programs. One is Capella, offering a PhD in Organization and Management -- see http://www.capellauniversity.edu/aspscripts/schools/business/program_phd.asp The link to Baker's Guide -- http://www.gospelcom.net/bakersguide/moredoctoral.html -- lists accredited distance doctoral programs in many fields. There are only a few in business or management or finance -- but more than I had thought. Time to update my lists! One caution -- as far as I can see, all these doctoral programs require at least some residence. For example, UMUC's Doctor of Management requires two semester-length doctoral core seminars which are conducted in Adelphi, Maryland.
