I was talking to a guy I work with today about getting an MBA from NCU and he asked a fairly good question..."why not just get a second bachelors degree in business?" I have to admit, I've never considered it..... I would like to get a solid background in business and thought an MBA with an emphasis in CJ would be just the ticket...but why not just get a second bachelors? What say you?
I believe you would get more utility for your efforts by getting the master's degree or the MBA with a CJ specialization instead of a 2nd bachelor's degree. Why not maximize the results for your hard work?
Probably....however my current BS is NA. I could probably get an RA one fairly easy. Of course once you get an MBA from an RA school, your undergrad probably doesn't matter right?
I'd go for the masters. I've looked at MBA programs and there are quite a few out there for students without an undergrad business degree. It just seems more expedient to get a graduate degree for the work you'll put in -- more bang for your buck so to speak.
My BS is also NA. I went the RA route for the MBA, which is my recommendation. I have not had any problems with it. I am also teaching at an RA school with other RA offers on the table, so it hasn't hurt.
