Confusion is just the path to insight and knowledge

 

The first UC distance education degree of any kind that I know of.

The University of California has been very reluctant to enter distance education up to now. While they offer many individual classes by distance learning, those courses seem to all be offered through the campuses' extension divisions and aren't part of degree programs.

The LA Times says that there is no opposition to this proposal at UC headquarters, but my guess is that the infighting has been furious. It represents a major change of course on DL by the UC system itself.

But I think that it was only a matter of time before the wall began to crack.
