Managerial or Business Communications? No more at ED

I'm 99% there in my degree plan but was let down today by Education Direct when I called to order their Business Communications course that they advertise on their website. They are telling me that it is no longer available even though it is still advertised in their Business Management program.

So with that I am trying to fulfill a Business or Managerial Communications requirement. Does anyone know of any self study, exam or accelerated classes that will allow me to do this in an expeditious manner as I am doing with all my other credits (via testing.)

And to go on and open another can of worms completlely I'd love to get some feedback from people who have graduated from a DL program via mainly testing. It seems the school I am planning to enroll in (TESC) does not offer GPAs unless courses were taken there. It was not my intention to take any coursework at TESC because I am planning to complete my degree 100% via testing and transferring but this will leave me without a GPA and I feel it might be important when applying to graduate school.

So what are everyone's thoughts on taking say, one course at TESC via one of their study programs (such as the Communications requirement that I have) and acing it with an A? Do you think this will entitle me to a 4.0 GPA? Will this 4.0 GPA if granted truly count as my GPA or will it be highly criticized (I realize it is most certainly better than NOT having a GPA at all)?

    Thanks for any help!

    Cheers,
    Joshua

I'm fairly sure that City University www.cityu.edu still offers CO 411: Managerial Communication and it is probably still available via distance learning.
