Well, I'm a matriculated PhD Business Administration-Financial Mangement learner at Northcentral University now!

Had a ton of options, but NCU's program was the best logistical and economic fit for my degree purpose.

    We'll see......

    Ted,

Are you still going to pursue a PhD in history at American Military University or Union? I remember you saying that you wanted to if AMU offered a PhD in that subject. You also stated that you wanted to work on a PhD at Northcentral University. What the heck gives young man? (LOL). Gosh darn it the media awaits your answer.

    Messagewriter,

Good luck to you at Northcentral University. I hope that it finds you well.

I will eventually get both the PhD in History and the PhD in Business/DBA/DM. My short list for the PhD in History: American Military University and Union Institute & University. My short list for the PhD in Business, DBA, or DM: Capella University, University of Luton, Northcentral University, Nova Southeastern University, University of Phoenix, Touro University, and Walden University.

Tireman: Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say that, at one time, you were in NCU's PhD in Business Administration and your wife was in NCU's PhD in Psychology. Ever thought of going back? How high is AMU on your degree wish list?

    Hi Messagewriter!

Welcome to Northcentral University. I have found NCU to be a great distance education program and I am almost done with my 14th course.

I wish you the best of success at NCU as a fellow learner. If you need anything give me a shout.

    Ted,

Good afternoon. Yes, I was in NCU's PhD program. My wife was as well. I just didn't see the need of a PhD in business. I just couldn't stomach two doctoral programs at the same time. With me teaching, working at NASA and taking my doctoral classes at UH, I was pretty stressed. She just didn't have the heart to finish.

No I don't want to go back. I just don't see the need. I am so wanting to finish at UH by 2008. I am still on track to do that, even if I just take one course in the fall. Yes, I would love to work on a PhD in military studies at AMU. I don't see the doctoral program starting berfore 2007 (Unless you know something different). If it starts in 2006, I would certainly sign up. All of my paper work is at AMU, so I would be in the thick of it. So you would have a dual doctorate? Interesting.

I don't know if I would have the gazongas to try two docs at once, but I will try them consecutively if not concurrently.

And, of course, since I simply cannot imagine myself not being involved in some educational pursuits at any given time, I might end up with more than two docs.

    Thanks

Thanks all. I'll let you know how it goes. I've been in the learner section of the site. Although I think the site remains visually hiteous, it has all the right stuff and is highly functional.

With all of the choices in DL schools, it is hard to decide on the one that will fit your needs as well as your budget. :)

    NCU is an excellent choice.

Keep us posted on your progress.
