Indiana's IHET System Shut-Down Distance Education

    Several of Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS) programs were discontinued leaving Indiana Students less options for distance education. The system was a satellite based tool that allowed many to take classes from different universities around the state. It delivered real-time video from universities so that students could participate in professional discussions.

    I'm not sure why they discontinued these services but it was instrumental in allowing me to progress towards achieving my degree.

    I knew that at some point they were going to be changing the delivery format from through the air to a broadband based one. Sounds like that time has come
