    Touro University International

    http://www.csdvietnam.com/english/Training/MBA_K3.htm

Entrance to the Program will include:

1/ Preliminary Selection through CV and application documents

2/ Examination (writing an assignment about some economic, social general issue)

    3/ Interview by English

    Dead-line: May 10th, 2003

    Examination date: May 15th, 2003

Package Tuition: US $ 7,500 (seven thousand five hundred dollars)
    __________________________________________________________________

Using current figures the TUI MBA requires 44 semester credit hours at $300 per SCH.

    44 x $300 = $13,200

So either the tuition at TUI went up considerably or they gave a discount like NCU does.

Look who now is giving the MBA program there:

    Wow. Another Communist-rip-off.
VNU knows better. They MUST know better.
A pile of VN students got ripped off by a Taiwanese mill working with the VN govt a few years ago and the Communist government told 'em to bleep off (the students, not the mill).
This is more of the same.
It's very sad, really. It doesn't have to be this way.

    Uncle and Carlosb,

Perhaps the thread and discussion related to TUI should be separated from that of PWU since they are distinctly different issues.

With TUI, it doesn't appear that an issue has been raised outside of the difference in tuition, which may indeed be a point for further discussion. On the other hand, PWU is clearly the mill-type or less than wonderful reputation and relationship that I assume you are referencing.

I would hate to see the title of the thread and discussion related to Touro confused with an obviously less than positive discussion that will likely flow from much more concerning issues surrounding PWU.

I agree with you, Tom. Personally, I see nothing wrong with what TUI did in Vietnam, even if there is a tuition difference.
