Guys I am totally desperate !
Tomorrow is the last day of the registration for semester 2 at UNISA South Africa and only today they’ve told me that my diploma is not enough !
    Incredible!
The minimum requirements is a Diploma di Maturita for Italy and I have it ! The Maturita in Italy is like Abitur in Germany, that is the final examination after 5 year of High School.. you get a diploma!
Moreover, I have a diploma in languages, that is, I am specialized in 3 different languages… it’s unbelievable !
I definitely do meet the minimum requirements and they say that I don’t have a Diploma di maturita, maybe because it is not written in my Diploma !
I attended a normal and official school and I also attached to UNISA the English official transcript that underlines the value: “ this diploma permit further tertiary study or courses at tertiary level “

I think that there is something wrong with them ! they can not accept my subscription because of this !!! I’ve done everything to meet the minimum requirements !

I'm sorry that you were turned down. It's not clear why this occurred. You obviously feel that you have met the minimum qualifications yet you were not accepted. Was this their misunderstanding of your qualifications or was it your misunderstanding of their standards? I'm guessing it was the former. In my experience with applying to South African universities, foreign credentials are evaluated by the SAQA. Rather than appealing to UNISA, you might want to make your appeal to the SAQA. In any case, I'd advise you to try to relax. You've missed the deadline and while you are rightfully disappointed, you have some time to regroup, figure out what went wrong, make some corrections and then forge ahead. In that process, if you're willing to say which program in which you were hoping to enroll, there might be other (South African) alternatives available. Hang in there.

    RIGHT!

Thanks Jack. I expected your answer. Thank a lot mate!

You're right about my feelings! I don't have to cry all night long for my registration, but what really bother me is that my diploma is perfeclty acceptable for minimum requirements.
If I register next semester I will perfectly do the same thing ! Same registration form, same payment, and SAME DIPLOMA.
In Italy MATURITA' means Final State Exam and that's it!
There's nothing wrong with that !

I was excited to join a BAdmin. I've done everything possible and I have to say that everything was going on greatly.
With 20 mins of train I was in the SA Counsular, nice people, nice environment...

incredible! I checked yesterday the requirements for London Business School: a High School Diploma and a First Certificate/Advanced certificate ! ( high school diploma: Esame di stato / maturita )

What makes me angry is that UNISA does not accept me, because in my Diploma paper is written ESAME DI STATO and not DIPLOMA DI MATURITA... the same thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRAZYYYYYYYYY !!!

Nonsense. There are better universities around the world that may accept your diploma. You have worked hard for your qualification. If UNISA has not accepted you.. to he*l with them. Look for more opportunities that will help you achieve your goals and ambitions. If you fail, get back up. If you fall again, stop whinning and strike at bureaucratic bu*l sh*t with a vengence. I have been denied admission to a grad certificate program ( indiana state university ) only to get accepted to the IO Psych masters program at NCU. If all of them ever denied me admissions, I would enroll at Harvards open admissions masters programs.

May the force be with you.

Thanks RAy, you gave me great tips !
    I am really thankful for that ( thankful ? ) anyway…
I am very said, tough because, as I told you before, UNISA was the perfect compromise for me. Perfect bachelor’s degree, insignificant cost ( 4,000 $ for a complete degree ) and terrific exam location for free at the consular of South Africa.
Now that I hear that I totally gone !
I am quite strong with psychology and I won’t let myself collapse for these few things !

What can I do now ? Which school can give me the same thing at the same level?… I know that I have a world to search but it can become quite hard….

    Regards
