Benefit #1: Being able to add PhD after your name when you write a book to add an air of legitimacy and gravitas to whatever you write. [IMG]

Benefit #2: No pesky alumni association bothers you to speak at commencement or show up to benefits.

Benefit #3: Diploma printed on the same impressive heavyweight paper they use for those cool-looking Harvard diplomas.

(I was particularly impressed by all of the typos on the website...)

    Have a fun weekend everyone!

Benefit #4: "Debate 101, 102, 304 and 509 are all part of the doctoral curriculum. This will facilitate the graduate in the lifelong process of trying to justify an unaccredited doctorate.

Benefit #5: You may crow at the moon, howling "doctooor! doctooor! Imma doctooor!" And no one can stop you, because you're a freeborn American. Unless you crow too close to the city limits, due to those pesky "disturbing the peace" ordinances.
