I had seen a thread about a BA in 30 days and now I can not find it. Can someone help?
I have 90 credits and want to take 2 or 3 GRE's to get the last 30 credits I need for a BA in Liberal Arts. I am sure some GRE's are easier than others. Any suggestions on the GRE's that might have the best study guides?

    Hi!

It has been a while since I did my testing for my bachelor's, but I found several study guides in my local library that correlated to course credits I needed. I borrowed a few at a time and looked them over to get a feel for the individual tests, and then decided what subjects would be easiest for me. (No point in making things more difficult than necessary!)

In many cases, several different publishers print review guides for the same test. One may be short on review and long on sample test questions, while another may adopt a "teach the subject from scratch" approach. Browsing through your library can help you select the test guides that will be most useful to you.

Good luck with your tests! (By the way, which tests are you considering?)

    Regards,
    Susan

The guide you cite is "BA in 4 Weeks". The latest revision (July 2001) is available here:

    This contains pertinent updates.

Go to the link below for detailed information on the GRE subject exams, with particular emphasis on the GRE Psychology examination, including study recommendations."Lawrie Miller's BA in 4 Weeks - Earn a 2nd BA in 3 hours", latest revision available at:
    http://groups.google.com/groups?q=+%22Lawrie+Miller+BA+in+4+Weeks%22+group:alt.education.distance&hl=en&safe=off&rnum=2&selm=3B54EA9B.ADDDB9B4%40ziplip.com

The book list may be meager but the suggested texts are sufficient for a pass above the 80th percentile (required minimum score to be granted 30 semester hours credit at Excelsior).

This mini guide is directed at existing graduates seeking a second bachelor's degree, however, it is equally useful to those
looking to earn a named concentration in their first degree.

Remember to check that you meet other Excelsior degree requirements by way of your previously earned 90 credits. The article entitled "4th Year - BS Degree", forms part of the BA in 4 Weeks guide, and contains a section which lists in short order, specific Liberal Arts Program degree requirements (nuts and bolts). On its lonesome, it is available here:

There URLs are huge, so ensure you cut and paste the entire cipher.
