Please advise me where to seek help in order to consolidate my credits and to test with CLEP (or similar) and finalize plans to finish my degree in the most efficient, accredited manner possible. I cannot afford time or funds for mistakes.

    Thank you.

Rich...thank you so much. This is exactly the lead that I was seeking.

Have you had any experience with Mr. Nixon or the colleges that he recommends?

Yes. Nixon wanders about in the woods with Bears and they write books.

    Follow whatever Tom Nixon recommends.

I am a graduate of the school that eventually became Excelsior.

And, as members of the Nixonian Dynasty go, Tom's much more honest than Dick.

And then, of course, there's Dr. John B. Bear's Degree Consulting Service. And, of course, get yourself a copy of _Bears' Guide to Earning Degrees by Distance Learning_.

No, wait, I don't do individual consulting. Haven't for many years. There are some helpful people doing it (Peter Proehl at www.degreeconsult.com, and Vicky Phillips, www.geteducated.com), but MHS is in the fortunate situation of needlng little more than having to decide among Excelsior, Edison State, and Charter Oak.

PS: the next edition of Bear's Guide, the 16th, which I have nothing to do with -- a product of Mariah Bear and Tom Nixon -- is in final editing process and probably will be out in the fall.

Did you sell DCS, pass it on to others, or just close it down altogether?
