Does anyone know of an institution both foreign and US based that offers a Doctorate degree in Legal Studies?

    Thanks

Via distance learning, you mean... right?

By the way... congratulations on getting your masters from CUP. That's my hands-down favorite of the various DL masters programs out there that deal with the subject of law (in this case, both law and public policy), but which isn't really thought of as the next step for holders of the J.D. (as is the LLM). Good work!

Well, here's a bit of a longshot. Flinders University in Australia has a PhD program in Legal Studies. As you might expect, they offer all the usual Bachelors and Masters level programs as well. This PhD program is a "research degree" and so it could potentially be completed at a substantial distance from campus. Added to this is the fact that Flinders University has a fairly large selection of distance learning (external) programs on offer. So if you add up all these factors is it possible that you could do a research PhD throught DL? Maybe. Would you be willing to fly to Adelaide once or twice per year? That might cinch the deal. Good luck.
