Lampeter fees

I have utterly failed in discovering the costs of attending Wales, Lampeter. I am interested in the License in Latin online.

Does anyone have an URL (for the fees, not the program).

Seven grand is just a tad on the toppy side . . . to the extent that I thought I had the wrong page to start with.

As somebody who's sortof in the same boat (MA Classical Civilisation, need language classes), I'd normally suggest the University of Florida's DL programme http://www.classics.ufl.edu/distance/distancema.htm but they're already full for 2005.

If you can stomach their world view (which I admit I can't) Patrick Henry College offer latin I and II through DL http://www.phc.edu/distancelearning/latin/Latin1.asp

Then there's the University of Georgia offerings http://www.gactr.uga.edu/idl/courses/offerings/latin/index.phtml

And last but by no means least, there's always UNISA http://www.unisa.ac.za/Default.asp?Cmd=ViewContent&ContentID=144 which has the merit of great cheapness but a bureaucratic registration system of positively soviet proportions.

As a medievalist, my Latin skills are not bad, but they should be better. I am looking for a good classical Latin program to refresh/update my skills. Lampeter looked good, but not at £7.000+.

I will look into the others.

LSU has ten credits worth of elementary and intermediate Latin through independent study..

 

Thanks. These LSU courses look good and reasonably priced.

I could certainly work through this on my own, but sometimes it's simply more efficient to pay someone else to make you do it.
