Any opinions on JFK University? They do have distance learning and are accredited.

They are regionally accredited, but I can't recall them having any DL programs of interest. They market themselves as being geared towards the "adult learner", which likely means they have flexible (residential) classes rather than true DL.

I've spent some time visiting the JFK campuses (they have several) and talking with faculty and grads.

Harvard it ain't, but the professors I met were very excited in their work and teaching, genuinely interested in their students, and a lot of innovative (if somewhat "on the edge") work is being done there.

There are quite a few JFK grads who are clinical psychologists in the Bay area, and JFK has a number of other programs as well.

I was unaware that they have full DL programs, since they've always specialized in adult-learner programs (evening and weekend classes), but if they've now moved into that arena, my guess is that they will probably be pretty good at it, because their faculty is very flexible and involved... unlike some other campus-based programs, where the professors are essentially forced to do DL and don't like doing it, and therefore don't do a terribly good job.

    Hope that helps.
