Most people talk about the "Big 3" to test out of degrees. Most people talk about bachelors and masters degrees. I wanted to point out an option of an associates degree most people probably don't know about.

UoP offers an AA in General Studies for anyone with a military background. If your MOS is equal to greater than 15 credits, you can have it listed on your transcript as a concentration. Since I went to the Army biomed school (21 credits) and had 15 credits in computers, I was able to pay an extra $75 to get a double concentration of biomedical technology and computer science technology.

UoP will let you CLEP everything you need for a degree except one class. It is ELM299 which is a writing class. You write an essay, they correct it, you re-write it. Total cost was $475 (minus CLEP costs) when I did it.

Just thought this would be useful to some.
