Submission of DBA dissertation to IGS/Charles Sturt University

I have submitted my dissertation to the manager of the program here in Malaysia Miss Jocelyn of what is left of IGS/IRI - Charles Sturt University's agent in Malaysia, and now it seems she is about to tender her resignation and is leaving for another institution.

As a student I feel that I have been abandoned by both institutions and approximately RM38000 poorer. I wonder what is Charles Sturt's University next excuse? In the first instance blame the franchisee and now what?

Can you imagine the staff at I-English has taken over from IGS for the management of the program and I-English is a language centre as far as I can deduce. The new coordinator is Anne and one of the directors Dr Cheong is suppose to follow up on the progress for all the CSU DBA candidates. I kind of wonder why this transition has taken place.

 

Let me also congratulate you on the completion of your dissertation.

It is obvious you have had a terrible time with CSU and their local Malaysian (ex) agent. But I am sure CSU will do the right thing and see you through successfully.

 

It is easy for CSU to blame the candidates for not reenrolling when the franchisee did not even make things transparent to the candidate on what should and should not be done. It is clear that ping pong diplomacy is being done where the candidate is shuttled from one end of the room to another and being left to degenerate.

 

Congratulations on the completion of your dissertation regardless of whether the institution is going to award you the degree, it is their conscience over yours. You have slogged, long and hard for it and paid for it with your hard earned savings. The main thing is that you have completed it and now move on in your life and prove to yourself and no one else that you have done a good job. Give yourself a pat on the back.
