    Any information on the University of Newcastle? I am interested in their DBA.

    Thanks

    University of Newcastle DBA

    I'm currently enrolled in their DBA program and would be happy to share my views.

    In the spirit of full disclosure, my organization also represents this program in N. America. However, I'm happy to provide input from my personal experience.

    UoNewcastle DBA opinion

    I'm 2/3 of the way through the UoN DBA program (GraduateSchool.com is their wholly-owned mktg. ).

    I've been pleased with:
    * quality of instruction - UoN PhD faculty teach GS.com courses;
    * price (I'm paying my own way) - even with US$ decline I found UoN DBA to be less expensive (tuition includes books, software, course CDs, UoN online library access, etc.) than most other online DBA/PhD programs;
    * no residency req't., though I've chosen to travel to UoN anyway (good excuse to tour the wineries);
    * global diversity of fellow DBA students.

    Things I wish were different:
    * I prefer programs with significant synchronous elements (difficult to do with students in almost all time zones) and the UoN program is predominantly asynchronous.

    Hope this helps. If you want more detail, email me ([email protected]) with you phone # and I'll call you.

    Good luck!

    Newcastle DBA Cost?

    Can anybody figure out the cost of the Newcastle DBA???? One of the biggest issues I have is being in another system. I"m used to the USA system and although we all speak English, it is very hard to understand their system.
