Hey everyone! Thanks to all of those who assisted me in my OR/STATS class. Although this was my first B since JC in 1985, it was well earned. It was tougher for me that Calculus or Trig. But alas, it is over - whew! I can actually see my wife before she falls asleep in bed now (I was usually up until 1 am every day). Thanks!
Congratulations, Mr. Engineer. You have truly worked for that grade, and you deserve it. Let me ask you something. Have you developed after all those laborious hours a special pleasure derived from solving that type of problems? Aren’t you hooked on them?
I am actually working on a problem that I would not have been able to solve except for the class. I am determining optimal TFT LCD flows through the ETCH, Wet ETCH, and PVD systems as well as optimal tool placement in the fab. We are selling as many as we can manufacture and we are currently at 100% of capacity (both equipment and area). I think I can push out aobut 10-15% more which will make our parent company very happy.
